Lisa Thomas
Director / Producer

Lisa Thomas has been working in film and television since graduating from the Evergreen State College. Currently Lisa is an Executive Producer on the Adult Swim animated series, Teenage Euthanasia. She was the Co-Executive Producer on the animated series, The Shivering Truth for Vernon Chatman (of South Park fame) and was the Supervising Producer on Tyler the Creator’s animated series, The Jellies. Lisa was the Executive Producer / UPM on the independent feature musical, Thirsty about the life of Scott Townsend, Provincetown’s legendary Cher impersonator. She was the Line Producer on Liz Garcia’s feature, One Percent More Humid, and was the Production Manager on Lighting Bugs in a Jar, which premiered at Cannes. She produced the hit animated series, Ugly Americans for Comedy Central the cult animated series, Xavier: Renegade Angel, and MTV’s sardonic variety show, Wonder Showzen. Since 2018 Lisa has been collaborating with Ryder Cooley and the Dust Bowl Faeries as the director / producer on their music videos. Together with the Faeries she has released Sirens, Vampire Tango, Zebra, Ghosts of Love, Candy Store and Lost in Time. Lisa is the President and Co-Founder of Thin Edge Films and has worked for NBC, PBS, HBO, Adult Swim, Maysles Films and Augenblick Studios.

Margo Pelletier
Director/Producer/Editor

Before working in film, Margo spent twenty years as an award winning fine artist showing her work in galleries and museums in the greater New York area. Prior to her feature, directorial debut on the post-queer musical film, Thirsty, Margo was the Director, Co-Producer and Editor for the independent documentary, Freeing Silvia Baraldini. Margo also directed and edited the short films, Cast to the Wind and Out of Service. She produced two live programs for the LGBTQ Center in NYC: “Celibacy, Our Choice or Not” and “Post-Queer: Building A Brave New World.”

Sadly the world lost a great artist / director, on November 27, 2016, when Margo Pelletier passed away after a three year battle with ovarian cancer. She made it her mission in the last few years of her life to see Thirsty to its completion. Margo received her BFA from the Cooper Union School of Science and Art, attended the Milton Avery Graduate School at Bard and the Institute of Audio Research in New York City.

Parker Cowden
Production Manager

A graduate of Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business and a current MFA Film student under the advisement of Killer Films' Christine Vachon, Parker joined Thin Edge Films in 2020. Since working with Thin Edge Films, Parker served as the Production Coordinator on a live-action comedy special for Adult Swim entitled "Rate the Cookie" which premiered in December 2020. He also worked as an Associate Producer on two animated series for Headspace, "Headspace: Guide to Meditation" and "Headspace: Guide to Sleep", which are both streaming on Netflix. Parker is currently working as an Associate Producer on a new Adult Swim animated series, "Teenage Euthanasia", which is set to premiere in August of 2021 and is the Producer on "Change of Scenery" which is currently in post at Thin Edge Films.

Laura Kelber
Screenwriter

Laura Kelber is a screenwriter and script doctor. She’s been a reader for Goldcrest Films, several indie production companies and festivals, and the BlueCat screenplay contest. She works as a script doctor for private clients. She’s also the co-organizer of the NY Screenwriters Co-op, in charge of reading and vetting script submissions, communicating with writers, and choosing scripts to be critiqued at bi-monthly meetings. Francis Ford Coppola selected Laura’s script Fatal Woman as the winner of his 2010 American Zoetrope screenplay contest. Some of her other scripts have placed in the Nicholl Fellowship, the Writers Lab and other competitions. Laura joined Thin Edge Films in 2012 to collaborate on the feature film Thirsty as co-writer of the screenplay. Her current project is the feature screenplay Mocha Dick, a reimagining of Moby Dick.

Fabrizio Fama
Editor

Born and raised in Catania, Sicily, after 14 years of experience in narrative film editing, Fabrizio Fama` decided to leave Italy and move to New York. Shortly after arriving in the U.S., Fabrizio was hired by Thin Edge Films to be the senior editor on Thirsty. While in Italy he worked with Italian Director Alessandro Di Robilant on many of his films including the feature, Mauro C’Ha da Fare. Fabrizio’s films have been accepted to Film Festivals around the globe and have won numerous awards from London, England to Portland, Oregon. In addition to editing film, Fabrizio has worked as and editor for MTV, VH1, LOGO and RAI News Network and teaches editing at the New York Film Academy.
